Pronto Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Pronto ("we", "us") is a dispatch app that connects people who need a service ("customers") with independent service businesses ("providers"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how to delete it. It's written to be read, not skimmed past.

What we collect, and why

| Data | Why we collect it | | --- | --- | | Account info — name, email, password (hashed by our auth provider), your role (customer or provider), optional profile photo | To create and secure your account, and to show the person you're matched with who they're working with | | Contact number (optional) | Shared with the other party only after a job is booked, so you can coordinate directly | | Precise location | The entire point of Pronto: customers' request locations and providers' base/shop locations are how we find nearby providers and dispatch jobs. Customers' exact addresses are revealed to a provider only after that provider accepts the job — pending offers see an approximate area | | Service request details — descriptions and photos you attach | So providers can understand the job before accepting | | Messages — chat between a matched customer and provider | To let you coordinate the job in-app | | Reviews — ratings and comments customers leave for providers | The marketplace's trust signal; visible to signed-in users | | Final job price (optional, provider-reported) | To calibrate the typical-price estimates shown to future customers | | Push token | To deliver job offers, booking updates, messages, and review notifications | | Usage and delivery records — dispatch offers, response timestamps, push delivery logs | To run the dispatch engine fairly (response-based ordering), debug delivery problems, and keep the marketplace honest | | Reports and blocks you file | To moderate the platform and keep a safety record |

We do not collect contacts, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or background location. Location is read only while you use the app.

Who your data is shared with

  • The person you're matched with. After a booking is confirmed, the customer sees the provider's name, photo, bio, rating, and contact number; the provider sees the customer's name, exact address/location for the job, and contact number. Before a booking, providers see only an approximate area.
  • Stripe — if a provider subscribes to Pronto Pro, billing runs entirely on Stripe. We store only subscription status, never card details. Customers never pay Pronto anything.
  • Expo (push delivery) — your push token and notification contents pass through Expo's push service to Apple/Google.
  • Supabase — our backend host (database, authentication, file storage). All data above lives there, encrypted in transit.
  • Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In — if you choose them, we receive your name and email from the provider. Apple users may hide their email; that's fully supported.

We don't sell data, run ads, or share data with anyone not listed here.

Retention

  • Active account data is kept while your account exists.
  • Dispatch offers and push delivery logs are operational data and are deleted with your account.
  • Completed job records are kept anonymized after account deletion (see below) because they are also the other party's history.
  • Reports you file are kept as a safety record even after the people involved delete their accounts, with identities removed.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account, inside the app. Immediately and permanently:

  • Your account, profile, photos, location data, push tokens, chat messages, and reviews (written and received) are deleted.
  • Any Pronto Pro subscription is cancelled at Stripe and the billing record deleted — a deleted account is never charged again.
  • If you signed in with Apple, your Apple sign-in tokens are revoked.
  • Completed jobs you were part of remain in the other person's history with you removed: no name, no address, no photos, no description — only the fact of the job and, if reported, its final price.
  • Active requests or bookings are cancelled, and the other party is notified through the normal cancellation flow.
