Pronto Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

A note on this document: these terms are written in plain language and in good faith for Pronto's pilot phase. Before meaningful scale, a lawyer should review and formalize them. If something here is unclear, ask us: support@getpronto.app.

By creating a Pronto account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. What Pronto is — and isn't

Pronto is a dispatch platform: it routes service requests from customers to independent service providers and confirms a match. The service contract for any job is between the customer and the provider — Pronto is not a party to it, does not employ providers, does not set prices, and does not process payment for the work. Customers pay providers directly.

Because of that:

  • Pronto does not guarantee that any request will be matched, that a provider will arrive, or the quality, safety, legality, or workmanship of any job.
  • Providers are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing, insurance, taxes, and compliance with local law.
  • Customers are responsible for verifying that a provider meets any licensing or insurance requirement that matters to them before work begins.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. One account, one role (customer or provider) — chosen at sign-up and fixed. You must be at least 18 to use Pronto. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete account); deletion is immediate and governed by our Privacy Policy.

3. How dispatch works

Requests are dispatched to nearby, available providers in limited timed waves; the first provider to accept is matched and all other offers are released. Providers may decline any offer without penalty; repeatedly ignoring offers until they expire affects dispatch standing. Exact addresses and contact details are shared only between the matched customer and provider, after acceptance.

4. Provider subscriptions (Pronto Pro)

The core dispatch loop is free for providers. Pronto Pro is an optional subscription ($49/month after a 14-day free trial) billed through Stripe; manage or cancel anytime via the in-app billing portal link. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Pro never changes what customers pay (nothing) and never overrides responsiveness in dispatch ordering: a non-responsive subscriber will not outrank a responsive free provider.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the platform. Among other things, you agree not to:

  • post content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, or fraudulent;
  • solicit users for purposes unrelated to a genuine service job;
  • create requests with no intent to book, or accept jobs with no intent to perform them;
  • scrape, probe, or attempt to access data that isn't yours (the database's row-level security is a boundary, not a challenge);
  • circumvent safety features such as blocking.

6. Your content and moderation

You own the content you post (request descriptions, photos, messages, reviews, profile text). You grant Pronto a non-exclusive license to host, display, and process it as needed to operate the service. We provide reporting and blocking tools on all user-generated content; we may review reported content and remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms. Reviews may only be left for completed, booked jobs. Records of completed jobs may be retained in anonymized form after account deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pronto disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Pronto does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any provider or customer will perform as expected.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pronto's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Pronto in the twelve months before the claim. Pronto is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any dispute, damage, or loss arising from work performed (or not performed) by a provider. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Pronto harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right — including, for providers, claims arising from work you perform.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app with an updated date above. Continued use after changes means acceptance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using Pronto, and delete your account, at any time.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
